-THEM-
Character name: Thor Odinson
Series: Thor: Son of Asgard
Character history: Here and here! Though if you need supplement, always willing to supply.

Character personality:
Thor is a reckless, arrogant young man. And while nobility and bravery spills out of him, he is also foolish and quite frankly, stupid. That combination led him and his party into many troubles. At the end of the series, he’s frankly still the same. Only there was now that hint of essential 'Thor-ness' that favours the classic Thor-image.

As myth would have it, he’s impatient and easily frustrated by anything that requires too much thinking. Rage is comes easily to him. He knows he’s powerful, or more specifically, that he will become powerful. Being one of the top students in his training class doesn’t help that budding ego. But Thor has moments of great compassion for his friends and fellow Asgardians that quells and makes that ego issue an insignificant thing. As he is still young, this is quick-pressed rage and quick and mindless thinking is as per usual for all children transitioning from under the skirts of their mothers to the sparring arenas. There is no doubt that he is headstrong and arrogant, yet he is constantly trying to prove to himself, to his father that he will be capable such astonishing greatness that no one will be able to deny his future as King of Asgard. His eagerness to lift Mjolnir is a proof of that, and his final success of this is another proof of his future greatness.

What he lacks in comparison to classic Thor is humility, which you may think he would have gained through his efforts trying to lift the mystic hammer. But because he did eventually succeed, that nullifies those trials.

This younger version of Thor is already a lot like the movie or the main-timeline. He focuses in life is bred in him; the core concepts of family and state. Asgard, the state, is an obvious one to elaborate. Everything he does, he does for Asgard. It is not just his home, but it is a weight on his shoulders. His responsibility - whether Odin allows him that or not. You can not talk about Thor, no matter what verse or timeline, without talking about Asgard. As such, he is loyal to Asgard to the point where if he needs to sacrifice himself, he will most definitely do it without hesitation. Unless that hesitation rests upon the sacrifice of another. This is where family comes in. Family does not mean immediate family - his parents and that pesky brother- it extends to his friends, his teachers, and even the servants that gives him nice linen sheets .It is the one thing that will absolutely come first before anything else, even Asgard. Though, it has to be noted that family may, in some cases, equate to Asgard. However, there is a defiant streak in him that will make him oppose authority for the sake of his own good intentions. All else fails, he can always sulk - which he tends to do quite a lot when things don't go his way.

Overall, Thor is fair and tolerant. He gives praise to those who deserves it. He is also friendly and keen for adventures that will hone his senses and shape his mnid (And also maybe something to tell the guys about.) At this point, there aren’t any of the scars time and age has blessed him with. So, he’s still very much fresh and green to the world and, with more relevance, to Midgardians. His view of things is still very one-sided, more Asgardian-tainted. This means that his control of power against mortals will be a thing that needs to be tested.

And here are six more words.

Journal entry sample:
There's something wrong with this place. They're trying to convince me that I am no more than a fictional character. I don't believe them, of course. There is nothing fictional about Asgard. I am the son of Odin, prince of Asgard. I have seen and lived in the glory of the Golden Realm my whole life!

How dare they make such accusations. Blast them to Hel, I shall make this statement once more. I am the Son of Asgard, my name beckons the call of thunder and storms! I am Thor, son of Asgard! And this is--

[Being dragged away for being crazy now.]

3rd person sample:
The funny thing about this place is the difference in era. This "modern" world, so they call, is both fascinating and frustrating. Of course, Thor has been in such situations where a certain kind of attire is deemed proper; he is the prince of his realm, after all. However, this is just plan unnecessary. He holds up the piece of cloth and stares at it with some disdain. He can figure it out easily enough; there are two holes for the legs and a part to close the clothing so that it doesn't fall off.

Still, this is uncomfortable. He doesn't understand the concept of pants and the necessity of it. Leggings, he might understand as they are quite comfort for sleep and riding. But these are stiff and too loose. He could easily trip over it, which means battle performance could verily be hindered.

Thor wears a face that signals a beginning of a sulk, and grumbles out. "There is nothing wrong with the furs I wore. They were not too short but accurately to the measurement a warrior would need for quick movement and spread."
